I am using US crochet terms.
Abbreviation chart:
CH – CHAIN STITCH
ST - STITCH
SC – SINGLE CROCHET
DC - DOUBLE CROCHET
INC - SC 2 times in same ST
SLST-SLIP STITCH
Pattern:
slipknot, Ch 3
R1 - DC in the first ch ( 3rd one from hook) 11 times, slst in top of ch to close round
R2 - Ch 2, 1 DC in next st, then 2 DC in each st around until end of row, slst in top of ch to close round
R3 - Ch 2, [DC in next st, INC in next st], repeat this until end of round, slst in top of ch to close round
R4 - Ch 2, [DC in next 2 sts, INC in next st], repeat this until end of round, slst in top of ch to close and then fasten yarn
*slipknot and join second colour with a SC
R5 - [SC in next st, Ch 4, SC back in the same st, SC in next 3 sts], and repeat this sequence, sc to close this round
R6 - making the petals: DC 5 times in Ch space, Ch 3, slst through front loops, then DC 5 times in the same ch space
*skip next st, slst in next 2 sts, skip next st, make another petal - and continue this sequence all around
*finish with a slst, fasten yarn and weave in the ends.
I apologies for not letting the text for longer on the screen, but I have definitely improved that in my recent videos. On some of them I even talk which makes it even easier to follow, just that I am unable to do that all the times because of my energetic toddler :D
