In this woodturning video, I will transform some pine cones into a hybrid epoxy resin vase / vessel. Using blue and yellow resin with mica powder to add a special effect into the end product. Before casting this piece, I let the resin to set for 5hrs to ensure after pouring into the mould the two colours do not blend. Using negative rake carbide tips help massively when working with resin to avoid any chip outs. At the ends I used some Yorkshire grit and microfine grit to polish up to great shine. Happy Watching π
