After the failure in August just 3 months ago, the new team decided to rebuild the destroyed sustainer of Hartbreaker with fixes for the failures that had been identified from the previous launch. The avionic flight parameters were paid close attention to for this second flight. This flight was projected for 133k ft.
As shown in the video, the current theory is that the primary computer (Telemega V5) malfunctioned and ejected the nosecone before it was programmed to do so. Before this malfunction, the rocket was on a good flight path and would likely have had sustainer ignition.
This is mostly a new team for this school year. Even though this flight was unlucky, the team learned lots of improvements they would like to implement for the next iteration of HART's rocket. The next launch will likely be in June 2024.
