Oklahoma was moored in berth Fox 5, on Battleship Row. She was immediately targeted by Japanese planes during the Attack on Pearl Harbor, and was struck by three torpedoes. As she began to capsize, two more torpedoes struck, and her men were strafed as they abandoned ship. In less than twelve minutes, she rolled over.
