The CHCH Christmas Toy Drive is going strong and this year our partners say the generosity has been bigger than in years past. Thousands of toys have already been donated and received by families in need, and more toys are still coming in.
Thousands of toys have come into multiple drop-off locations, including Seaway Mall in Welland, Mercedes-Benz Burlington, Eastgate Square, our own CHCH News studios, Samko and Miko Toy Warehouse, and e-transfers with the help of First Ontario Credit Union.
So far this year over 500 children in the Niagara area and over 800 in Hamilton Burlington have received toys through the CHCH Christmas toy drive and our partners. That’s over 6,000 toys that have been donated and over $32,000 dollars came in from e-transfers and there’s still more coming in.
The toy drive is still happening, you can make a donation right up until Christmas Eve at Eastgate Square and Seaway Mall.
