North Korea's state-run television broadcast a video of its leader Kim Jong Un's latest trip to China this week on Friday, Jan. 11.
The video chronicled the activities of Kim and his wife Ri Sol Ju who had meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan and attended an welcome ceremony and banquet on Tuesday, Jan. 8. Tuesday was also Kim's 35th birthday, South Korean officials said.
The video showed Kim on Wednesday, Jan. 9, touring a pharmaceutical factory located in the economic-technology development zone in Beijing, as well as meeting with Xi at a hotel in Beijing before his departure. Kim reportedly had lunch with Xi before heading to the Beijing station. (Reuters).
