The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the U.S. military will participate in joint exercises, an annual bilateral exercise between the two allies and the largest Balikatan exercise to date.
The force is also slated to conduct a series of back-to-back exercises and security cooperation engagements with important regional allies and partners in Southeast Asia, including the Philippine Marine Corps, the Royal Malaysian Navy, and the Indonesian Marine Corps.
The Philippines is a key U.S. ally. It is the largest recipient of U.S. military assistance, equipment, and training in the region. Together, the United States and the Philippines are committed to promoting regional peace and stability.
