성탄 전날도 예외없다 이스라엘, 가자 남부 집중 공격

There's one place in the world where the expected year-end season's magic is nowhere to be found.
That's in Bethlehem, which normally bustles this time of year with tourists eager to see the biblical birthplace of Jesus Christ.
But this year, the city looks like a ghost town.
No festive lights or a Christmas tree is to be found decorating Manger Square due to the ongoing Israel-Hamas War.
Even on Sunday, a day before Christmas, Israel's military said it had hit about 200 targets in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed no plans of slowing the war against Hamas despite calls from humanitarian groups for a ceasefire.
So far more than 20-thousand Gazans have been killed throughout the 11-week-old war, which is the highest toll for any other Arab conflict with Israel in more than 40 years.
