Ukrainian officials said that at least 28 people were injured as six missiles struck the north-east of the city.
The Russian defence ministry said that 'decision-making centres' and military facilities were targeted in response to a Ukrainian attack on the Russian city of Belgorod, the state news agency RIA reported.
