A Japan Airlines passenger jet collided with a coast guard plane in a catastrophic accident at Tokyo's Haneda airport. Five people on the coast guard aircraft died in the crash but all 379 passengers and crew escaped to safety using emergency slides minutes before the commercial aircraft was engulfed in flames. Police say they have opened an investigation into what caused the crash.
