The speed of evacuation by the 367 passengers and 12 crew members from the Japan Airlines plane in just 90 seconds was an amazing feat, helped by the light smoke in the cabin and passengers not trying to take their belongings with them, which is typically a major hindrance when evacuating an aircraft.
