(18 Oct 1994) Queen Elizabeth II took a tour of the Kremlin with President Boris
Yeltsin on Tuesday (18/10) and laid a wreath at a memorial to
Soviet soldiers killed in World War II. The queen and her husband,
Prince Philip, walked beside the Kremlin wall through the
Alexander Garden before stopping at the eternal flame marking the
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After a minute's silence, a band
played the national anthems of Russia and Britain. Yeltsin was
accompanied by his wife, Naina.
