There were spectacular scenes in London and Edinburgh as the UK celebrated the start of 2024.
Attention in central London was on the Thames where a huge firework and drone display lit up the sky as Big Ben struck midnight.
Traditional Hogmanay celebrations were also held in Edinburgh.
