Tensions are soaring between Manila and Beijing once again in the South China Sea. The Philippines has vowed to remove floating barriers that the Chinese Coast Guard had allegedly erected in disputed waters to block Filipino boats from entering and fishing in the area. The Philippines discovered the obstacle -- estimated to be around 300m long -- during a routine patrol near the Scarborough Shoal on Friday.
