External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar interacted with the Indian community in Moscow on his 5-day visit to Russia. During his interaction on Tuesday, Jaishankar emphasised that 'Russia is a special partner in areas like defence, nuclear energy, and space.' Stressing on the bond between the two countries, he added that 'these kinds of collaborations are done with countries with whom you have a high degree of trust.' He even spoke about the important trade deals with Russia's Deputy PM Denis Manturov. The duo signed an agreement for the future units of the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project in Tamil Nadu. Additionally, Jaishankar also speculated a double growth from $50 to $100 billion in terms of trade between India and Russia in the next few years.
