A Ukrainian priest was almost killed by a falling piece of his church’s ceiling when it was struck by a Russian missile this morning.

Video footage captured the robed Orthodox minister at Odesa’s Holy Presentation Church walking under the chunk of ceiling just five seconds before it fell to the ground, taking an icon with it.

“Lord have mercy,” the church posted on Facebook afterwards with pictures of the damage. “Thank God no one was hurt.”
