Massive waves rolled into Ventura beaches as swells reached 15 to 18 feet and some sets close to 20 feet.
Waves poured over the walls separating the beach from homes causing flooding and damage to homes.
According to the Ventura County Fire Department, multiple rescues were made, and 8 people were injured.
