We have uncovered new details about the case of a couple found dead in a vehicle Tuesday afternoon. The details, shedding light on why San Antonio Police officials were, at first, seemingly vague about the nature of the investigation into the couple's deaths.
Sources familiar with the investigation told us on Wednesday that police did not find a firearm or the cellphone of Savanah Soto's boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, in the vehicle in which the couple was found on Tuesday. Those sources told us that Guerra's body was found in the backseat of the Kia sedan, while Soto was in the front passenger's seat with a child carrier on her lap.
