The Monetary Authority of Singapore will use an artificial intelligence tool to help banks issue green loans in the real estate sector. The AI tool will address several challenges, including marketing gimmicks like greenwashing and inefficient processes. The tool was developed by the Project NovA! consortium, which comprises 23 members, including DBS and Temasek. The next phase will support sustainable financing in other sectors such as power and manufacturing industries.
