Anderson Cooper is struggling to hold back his emotions over the Israel-Hamas war. The CNN anchor fought tears during a live broadcast from Tel Aviv after the network's interview with an Israeli woman pleading for her family's safety as they remain held hostage. Anderson isn't the only news personality getting choked up on air while reporting on the harrowing story. CBS Mornings' Norah O'Donnell was visibly distraught while telling Gayle King about the outpouring of support for a 24-year-old who was killed at a music festival in Israel during the Hamas attack. And Sky News Australia's Sharri Markson delivered searing remarks when describing the horror unfolding in the Middle East. Israel declared war on Hamas on Oct. 7 after the Palestinian militant group launched terror attacks throughout the nation, with Hamas fighters abducting a reported 150 Israelis, many of whom are civilians. Israel has retaliated with airstrikes across the Gaza strip; as of Oct. 12, more than one thousand people have reportedly been killed on both sides. Breakout I24 correspondent Nicole Zedeck's on the ground reporting has gained global attention, with the young journalist breaking some of the most horrific details of the escalating conflict.
