The United States is calling on Israel to focus on protecting civilian lives in Gaza as the IDF continues its military operation of annihilating Hamas.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan met with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss
what “phase” of war Israel were at.
The meeting was centred around the de-escalation of Israel’s bombardment of Gaza.
Mr Sullivan said in a speech he expected a “transition to another phase” of the war.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded shortly after, saying “nothing less than total victory” would be satisfactory.
