THE WHITE NOISE
===============================================
Continuous, repetitive, "light" and constant, white noise is a background sound while always maintaining the same volume level. It is a monotonous and, therefore, calming sound. In addition to serving as a base, it also acts as a screen. In fact, white noise seems to be able to protect the ear from other noises, external and more annoying sounds, such as the passage of a racing motorcycle or the barking of a dog. Basically, it has an auditory shield function.

ASMR: MEANING
===============================================
The term autonomous sensory meridian response (literally "autonomous meridian sensory response"; in acronym ASMR) indicates a mild tingling sensation in various parts of the body, mostly accompanied by a state of mental relaxation of the person experiencing it. Numerous stimuli contribute to arousing it: cerebral (thoughts or ideas) or of a visual, auditory or tactile nature, perceived by a subject in an active or passive way. Advocates describe the techniques used and watching ASMR movies as an approach to self-help.
